ANJO, Japan - Body guards help Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda stave off a fall from an election campaign truck in Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, on Nov. 26, 2012, when Noda was climbing up to the vehicle and a rail he grabbed accidentally came off. Noda later said in a stump speech from the truck ahead of the Dec. 16 general election, "I'm sorry about the accident, but the Democratic Party of Japan will not fall. It will claw its way up."

ANJO, Japan - Hakurozan of Russia holds up a sumo ranking list for the upcoming Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament in Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, on June 27. Hakurozan, sumo wrestler Roho's younger brother, was promoted to the sport's top makuuchi division in the list. They will become the first-ever foreign siblings to wrestle in the makuuchi division in the same meet, at the Nagoya tournament.
