"Our police have collected 4,365 pieces of different kinds of weapons, 291,331 rounds of bullets, 735 boxes of ammunitions, 515 pieces of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines from irresponsible individuals during the operations over the past year," Bakhtar quoted Interior Ministry officials as saying. Police have also discovered and seized 631 government-owned vehicles used by individuals illegally, the report added.
