TOKYO, Japan, Aug. 24 Kyodo - Takeshi Abe, former head of the Health and Welfare Ministry's AIDS study team and former vice president of Teikyo University, raises his hand to testify as unsworn witness at a House of Representatives committee session in Tokyo in April 1996 over his connection with HIV infections through tainted blood products in the early 1980s.
