A severe blizzard struck the southern Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region on Sunday, May 10, with sub-zero temperatures and strong winds, which Governor Dmitry Artyukhov described as anomalous for May. Several highway sections were blocked, airports and public transport were disrupted across multiple districts including Noyabrsk, Muravlenko, Gubkinsky, and Purovsky.
