Mt. Aso caldera added to UNESCO geoparks list

ASO, Japan - People celebrate at Aso Volcano Museum in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, on Sept. 23, 2014, after the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network said the caldera of active volcano Mt. Aso was added to a list of global geoparks. The Aso caldera is one of the world's largest covering an area of about 350 square kilometers.
