JAL to operate special flight to mark 50th anniversary

TOKYO, Japan - Japan Airlines (JAL) will operate a special charter flight between Tokyo and Hawaii on Feb. 2 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the start of regular international flight operations by a Japanese airline. Flight attendants wearing the same type of uniform used on the airline's first international flight pose in front of a B747-400 jumbo jet which will take off from Tokyo's Haneda airport at around 11:30 p.m. for Honolulu.
