The dead included two males and a female, according to the rescue service. The rescue service said that the accident took place early morning in Nowshera Jadeed area of the district when a passenger bus overturned while taking a U-turn and fell into a dry lake, resulting in the death of three passengers on the spot. Upon receiving the information, rescue workers reached the site and shifted the victims to a local hospital, it added. The bus was reportedly traveling from the federal capital Islamabad to the southern port city of Karachi. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Islamabad.
