The blast took place in a market and police have initiated an investigation to determine the reason for the blast, the official said, without providing more details. Locals said that the blast occurred at around 7:30 p.m. local time in the Dasht-e-Barchi area, inflicting casualties. This is the second blast in Dasht-e-Barch over the past two weeks.
