Archives on grassroots campaigns

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken June 26, 2012, at Rikkyo University's Research Center for Cooperative Civil Societies, in Tokyo, shows documents on the Japan Peace for Vietnam! Committee, or Beheiren. The university is opening a unique archive housing an extensive collection of materials relating to postwar grassroots campaigns for environmental conservation, peace, and social issues including consumer affairs and the rights of handicapped people.
