Moscow-Paris direct train service launched

MOSCOW, Russia - A woman (L) checks the passport of a passenger before the departure of a train bound for Paris via Berlin at Moscow's Belorussky Station on Dec. 12, 2011. Russian Railways the same day started a direct train service between Moscow and Paris which runs a total of 3,177 kilometers through five countries in about 38 hours.
