A fire broke out near the AP-7 road in Benidorm, the popular tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast, on Saturday, August 10 prompting the closure of the highway. The fire was brought under control the next morning.

Spain: 3 Killed In Apartment Fire In Alicante’s Resort Town Of Villajoyosa

3 people including a child were killed in a fire in Villajoyosa, a coastal resort town in Alicante early Monday, March 4. The blaze started on the 11th floor of a 24-story apartment building on Avenida Marineros at around 2:15 a.m. 15 others were injured and around one hundred people were evacuated, according to reports.
