Osaka maker devises new material for 'world's fastest swimsuits'

OSAKA, Japan - Tomizo Yamamoto, president of functional rubber maker Yamamoto Corp., speaks about a new material that the company has developed for use in swimsuits during a press conference in Osaka on Aug. 10. Yamamoto said the material, called Biorubber Swim TX, can be used to make ''the world's fastest swimsuits'' in compliance with new regulations to be introduced by the International Swimming Federation.
