The event was held at the Myanmar Convention Center in Yangon. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein attended the event and presented prizes to the winners. About 70 bodybuilders from across the country competed in three categories: men's bodybuilding, men's athletic physique, and women's athletic physique. Germany's Junker wins women's heavyweight-class bodybuilding

AKITA, Japan - Susanne Neiderhauser of Austria (L), Cornelia Junker of Germany (C) and Jana Purdjakova of the Slovak Republic flex their muscles on the podium at Akita City Culture Hall on Aug. 19.
