US: Everglades Wildfire Scorches Over 11,000 Acres in South Florida 3

A wildfire burning across the Everglades along the Broward and Miami-Dade county border in Florida had scorched more than 11,400 acres as of Wednesday, May 13, with the blaze now fully contained and controlled, according to the Florida Forest Service. Roads in the area were closed, and residents were advised to keep windows shut and stay indoors if they have respiratory issues. No injuries were reported.
