Turkey: Wildfire Rages Between Didim and Bozbük Amid Strong Winds

A wildfire broke out in the makilik and forest area between the Didim district of Aydın and the Bozbük area of Muğla on Tuesday, July 14, and spread quickly as strong winds fanned the flames. Hotels and villas near the fire zone were evacuated as a precaution. The fire was largely brought under control, though cooling and mop-up operations continued in the region due to persistent winds.
