Armenians gathered at Republic Square in Yerevan for a rally led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, head of the Tavush for the Homeland movement on October 2, 2024. Galstanyan declared the event the start of the "Victory and Hope" phase of their initiative. Movement leaders and supporters renewed their calls for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, branding government officials as representatives of the enemy within Armenia. The crowd marched from Republic Square to the Public Television station, encountering a significant police presence.
