Germany climbed to third place on a 7-2 win-loss record, amassing 19 points. Despite the harsh struggle of Dominica's Brayelin Martinez who scored a game-high 21 points, the Caribbean nation failed to reverse the match. Germany started off on the right foot, but Dominica intensely fought back in the second set, where both sides went neck and neck and leveled the score several times with Germany securing the set with an ace in the end.
