Japanese actor Bunta Sugawara dies at 81

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken in November 2013 shows renowned Japanese actor, Bunta Sugawara, who died of liver cancer at 81 at a Tokyo hospital on Nov. 28, 2014. Sugawara starred in a number of films and TV dramas, including the 1973 film "Battle Without Honor and Humanity" (Jingi naki tatakai) depicting a gangster conflict. The Glover residence and the garden at Minamiyamate No. 1. The house was built in 1863 and was the residence of Thomas Glover who came to Nagasaki in 1861 as a representative of Jardine, Matheson & Company. It is the oldest western-style building in Japan. The garden is well maintained.
