OTSU, Japan - A museum in Koka, Shiga Prefecture, western Japan, shows a long-missing painting by Japanese poet and painter Yosa Buson (1716-1783) to the press on Sept. 24, 2014. The whereabouts of the painting, currently owned by a company in Singapore, had been unknown for 92 years.

Photo taken Oct. 14, 2015, shows a collection of Japanese 17-syllable "haiku" poems by Yosa Buson, a haiku poet of the Edo Period. It has been found that the collection, housed at Tenri University in the western Japan city of Tenri, includes 212 unknown poems. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo

Myogi Shinto Shrine

Myogi Shrine at the eastern foot of Hakuunzan of Omote Myogi, surrounded by old cedar trees. The building of the shrine was built from the Hoei years to the second year of Horeki (1752). The Gods worshipped are the Nihon Buson, Hojutaishin, and Sugawara Michizane. It possesses the national cultural asset of Jizo Bosatsu Reigenki. Nakanodake shrine in myogisan

Nakanodake Shrine is located at the south foot of Mt. Kondo (also called Nakanodake). The deities worshipped are Nihon Buson in the Hongu and Okuninushinomikoto in the Zengu.
