UK: Snow Blankets Country as Arctic Air Arrives 4

Snow has arrived across much of the UK, from London to Scotland, on Wednesday, November 19, as Arctic air sweeps in. Londoners saw light flurries, while deeper snow covered areas including Yorkshire, County Durham, Northumberland, and the Lake District. The Met Office has issued multiple weather warnings: amber for heavy snow in parts of Yorkshire and yellow for snow and ice across Northern Ireland, Wales, northern and central England, and Scotland.

US: Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted After False Gun Report at UNC Wilmington

University of North Carolina Wilmington issued a shelter-in-place order on Thursday night, September 18, after police received unfounded reports of a gunman on campus. The university was on lockdown for hours before police declared it a false alarm, giving the "all clear."

US: Audience Flees After Charlie Kirk Shooting at Utah Valley University 3

Charlie Kirk, 31, a conservative activist and close ally of Donald Trump, was fatally shot on Wednesday, September 10, while speaking at Utah Valley University. Utah’s governor called it a “political assassination.” Authorities said a person of interest was in custody, though no charges or motive were immediately announced. The killing drew bipartisan condemnation and renewed concerns over rising political violence in the U.S. This video shows people in the audience running for cover right after the shooting.
