Xinjiang Clean Energy Development - China

A 750-kilovolt (kV) "power expressway loop," the country's largest of its kind, has taken shape throughout Xinjiang, providing strong support for efficient energy allocation. China: Fierce Sandstorm Sweeps Through Melon Field in Changji, Xinjiang

A fierce sandstorm hit Changji, Xinjiang, on August 16. This video captured the moment a man was standing in his Hami melon field when powerful winds swept through without warning. Within seconds, hordes of empty melon bags were hurled into the air, filling the sky and creating a chaotic scene as the man struggled to continue his broadcast.
