The yumitorishiki is the conferment ceremony of the championship bow in the world of sumo wrestling. The ceremonial bow is conferred by the referee to a junior ranking wrestler appointed in advance. The wrestler uses the bow to perform a stamping ritual. The wrestler wears an ornamental apron when performing the ritual on the sumo ring.
