Samurai Trading's "CaMISHELL" paper containing eggshell powder

Samurai Trading has developed CaMISHELL, a paper containing about 10-30% eggshell powder. The two companies have jointly developed products using the paper with Shinsei Pulp and Paper Trading (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) and Mitsubishi Paper Mills, and are marketing them. While the shift to paper is progressing with the trend of de-plasticization, eggshells, which are mainly disposed of as industrial waste, will be utilized as a substitute for pulp and filler. Shinsei Pulp and Paper Trading and Mitsubishi Paper Mills will jointly use the Camishell trademark and logo. Both companies will handle business card paper, but they plan to separate them by the ratio of eggshell powder. Shinsei Pulp and Paper Trading will use eggshell as a partial substitute for pulp. In addition to business card paper weighing 160 grams per square meter, the company has commercialized four types of paper, including coated cardboard used for hand bags and packages.
