France: Tens of Thousands Evacuated From Cap Ferret as Gironde Wildfires Rage

French authorities ordered evacuation of the Cap Ferret peninsula on Friday, July 24, launching boats to help evacuate tens of thousands of holidaymakers as wildfires tore across the Gironde region in southwestern France.
