Italy: Protests Erupt After Gaza-Bound Aid Flotilla Intercepted by Israel 3

Protests erupted across several Italian cities Wednesday, October 1, after Israeli forces intercepted the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla. Italian unions have called a general strike for Friday in support. In Naples, demonstrators halted train traffic, while police surrounded Rome’s Termini station. The flotilla, carrying medicine and food, aims to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza.
