UK: 2-Minute Silence Observed in London and Across Country to Mark Armistice Day

A two-minute silence was observed across the UK at 11:00 GMT on Tuesday, November 11, to mark Armistice Day. The commemoration, which took place at the Cenotaph in Whitehall and other landmarks, was held to remember the fallen and honor the exact time the agreement to end fighting in World War One came into effect on November 11, 1918.
