Hamas Surprise Attack Out Of Gaza Stuns Israel

Hamas Surprise Attack Out Of Gaza Stuns Israel

A Chabad rabbi opened a stand to place tefillin and two worshipers next to the area where a rocket fell in south Tel Aviv, Israel, today, October 8, 2023. Yesterday in the early hours of the morning, Hamas members launched a combined operational action against Israel, which was very surprised by this. Nearly 3000 rockets were fired at Israel and alarms were sounded in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Gaza Strip. The Hamas operation included the entry on foot, by paragliding and by sea of dozens of its people. So far, over 600 dead and about 2100 wounded have been reported on the Israeli side, and over 370 dead and over 2200 wounded in Gaza from Israeli airstrikes. Yesterday was the last day of Sukkot holiday in Israel and also Shabbat, which contributed to the Israeli surprise. Photo by Yahel Gazit/Middle East Images/ABACAPRESS.COM
