A woman was killed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, after her SUV was swept away by floodwaters near Walmart in Petal, Mississippi, during a flash flood emergency. Witnesses attempted to help her escape, but the vehicle flipped upside down before she could get out. Officials said the investigation remains active.
