According to the reports, the incident took place in the morning near Chichawatni railway station of the district when suddenly a blast occurred in a compartment, which killed a female passenger on the spot. Rescuers reached the site and shifted the dead and the five injured passengers to the hospital, the rescue service said. Two other injured were given first aid on the spot and were not required to be taken to the hospital, it added.
