City in Saitama attracts anime fans

SAITAMA, Japan - Women take photographs on Sept. 9, 2011 in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, on a bridge which appeared as a scene in the animation series ''Anohi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai'' (We still don't know the name of a flower we saw that day). Anime fans have been flocking to the city, and to the many spots which appear as scenes in the story, since it was broadcast from April through June this year.

SAITAMA, Japan - A police helicopter transports one of two men working for Nippon Television Network Corp. found in a state of cardio-respiratory arrest in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, on Aug. 1, 2010. The two, later confirmed dead at a hospital, had climbed the mountain to cover the July 25 fatal crash of a rescue helicopter.
