Mexico: Fire Erupts On El Pino Hills In Ixtapaluca

A fire broke out on a grassy hill in El Pino between the municipalities of Ixtapaluca and Chicoloapan in the state of Mexico on Wednesday afternoon, February 7. Fire crews battled the fire amid strong winds a few meters from the La Guadalupana neighborhood. Residents of nearby Chimalhuacán reported ash fall and strong smell of smoke from the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
