NAGOYA, Japan - Japanese Olympic team member Chire Koyama prevails 3-2 over fellow Chinese expatriate Junko Haneyoshi on Dec. 16 to win her eighth women's singles title at the table tennis national championships. Koyama defeated Haneyoshi 22-24, 21-18, 21-14, 8-21, 21-17 at Nagoya Sports Complex to edge past Mika Hoshino for the most championships won in the women's singles event at the national meet.
