Several breast cancer survivors at the association called on all sectors of the society to enhance their knowledge of breast cancer prevention as well as strengthen routine medical examinations for the disease, so as to prevent advanced cancer from creating huge economic and psychological burdens on patients and their families. The association's secretary-general Mohamed Amine Chkir said on Sunday that patients with early-stage breast cancer have a 95 percent recovery rate.
