Cyprus-registered ship runs aground off disputed isle

NAHA, Japan - A video image released by the Japan Coast Guard on May 5 shows the Cyprus-registered cargo ship Thia Chryssoula which ran aground in waters off the disputed Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea on May 4. The coast guard said the incident occurred in the southwestern part of Uotsuri Island, the largest in the Senkakus. (Kyodo)
