Several tornadoes, including an EF3, ripped through Mississippi on Wednesday, May 6, spawned by supercell thunderstorms and triggering a tornado emergency. Governor Tate Reeves confirmed that 17 people were injured and more than 300 homes were damaged across several counties, with no deaths reported.
