Madbouli highlighted that the trade exchange value between Egypt and Romania exceeded 1 billion U.S. dollars in 2022. He called on Romania to increase the export of grain to Egypt. On his part, Ciuca said their talks ranged from Egyptian-European ties and energy exchange to government digital transformation implementation strategies. He asserted that it is necessary to activate all mechanisms for further trade relations between both countries
