Megawati arrives in E. Timor

DILI, East Timor - Indonesian presidential front-runner Megawati Sukarnoputri (L) arrives at Comoro airport in Dili, East Timor, on Aug. 8. During her three-day visit, Megawati will meet with the U.N. mission and East Timorese leaders and appeal for peaceful implementation of the Aug. 30 referendum over independence or autonomy under Indonesia. She opposes East Timorese independence from Indonesia.
