US: Whipping Winds and High Surf Hit Jersey Shore

A powerful storm caused widespread damage across the Tri-State area on Thursday, October 30, with barges washed up on Woodmont Beach in Connecticut. A fast-moving clipper system brought severe weather to parts of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont late Wednesday night, February 26.
