On Wednesday, April 9, public and private sector workers in Greece have begun a 24-hour strike to demand a salary increase and the full restoration of collective bargaining rights. This action is also causing disruptions to public services throughout the country.

Greece: Protesters in Corfu Call for Gaza Ceasefire Amid Nationwide Strike

On Wednesday, April 9, Greece experienced a 24-hour strike by public and private sector workers who were demanding salary increases and the complete reinstatement of nationwide collective bargaining rights.
 In Corfu, some demonstrators participating in the national strike also raised the flag of Palestine to call for a ceasefire.
