Japan: Massive Crowding at Stations After Knife Scare on Saikyo Line

17-year-old boy was arrested on Friday, January 23, following reports of a man armed with a knife on a Saikyo Line train in Tokyo’s Kita Ward. While no injuries were reported, several train lines were suspended, forcing some passengers to walk along the tracks and causing massive crowding at stations as commuters were left stranded.
