China: Crane Driver Rescues Dangling Worker in Beijing’s Fengtai District

On October 17, 2025, in Fengtai District, Beijing, a man was found hanging outside a window after slipping while dismantling an air conditioning unit on a building’s exterior. He became entangled in a safety rope around his neck and arm. Crane driver Wang Lei immediately maneuvered his vehicle toward the building and extended the crane arm to rescue the struggling worker.

China: Dog Rescued After Being Trapped in Elevator in Anhui

On August 28, 2025, a shocking accident occurred in a residential building in Anhui Province, eastern China. As the elevator doors opened, a pet dog entered, but its elderly owner either deliberately stayed behind or failed to get on in time, leaving the dog alone inside as the doors closed. As the elevator descended, the dog's leash became caught in the door, pulling it upward and leaving the dog dangling from the ceiling in a dangerous position. A man and woman waiting on the next floor quickly rescued the dog when the elevator doors opened.

China: Toddler Rescued After Dangling From Window In Suqian, Jiangsu

This video captures the intense moment a toddler, left unattended, was spotted dangling from a window, prompting an emergency response from local residents in China. On November 16, 2022, in Suqian, Jiangsu, outside the Guangyuan Market on Taoyuan North Road, a toddler managed to breach the safety barrier while the adults were away on school runs, placing the child in imminent danger. A group of local residents quickly gathered below the window, holding a large cloth to catch the child if he fell. Amid the tense scene, heroic bystanders scaled the building without safety equipment and successfully rescued the toddler. Thanks to the swift actions and bravery of the bystanders, the child was safely rescued with no injuries reported.
