China: Robot Dog Frightens Golden Retriever Into Hiding in Wuhan

On March 24, 2026, in Wuhan, located in central China’s Hubei province, a video recorded a robot dog encountering a golden retriever outdoors. As soon as the machine noticed the real dog, it moved excitedly and took on a posture that looked like it wanted to challenge it. The golden retriever had apparently never seen such a machine before. Faced with the robot dog’s movements and sounds, it quickly jumped into nearby bushes and stayed hidden. The robot dog remained outside waiting, while the retriever did not dare come back out. It only peered from behind the grass and kept its distance from the machine.

This is the eye-catching moment that a Chinese man was seen casually walking with a large dog standing steadily on top of his head in a street scene that left passersby stunned. On February 26, 2026, in Weinan, Shaanxi, the video captured a man strolling along a street while a full-sized dog stood firmly on his head. The dog appeared calm and balanced, maintaining its position without slipping as the man walked at a steady pace. Pedestrians nearby slowed down and turned to watch the striking sight, some visibly surprised by the man’s composure and the animal’s stability. The man did not seem bothered by the attention and continued moving forward as if it were a routine occurrence. The video ended with the man continuing down the street with the dog still balanced securely on his head.
