The celebration in the two cities in east Serbia was attended by representatives of the Serbian government, Chinese mining company Zijin, and local communities, including thousands of miners and their families. Dragana Jelisavac Erdeljan, head of the mining sector at the Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia, expressed satisfaction that the Chinese mining company continues with Serbia's traditional celebration of the national miners' day.
