Daibutsu (the Great Buddha) of Kamakura

The Daibutsu is the main Buddha at the Kotokuin and used to be inside a building called the Daibutsuden. Daibutsu-den (the Great Buddha Hall),Todaiji Temple

This is the front view of the Golden Hall, the Hall of the Great Buddha (Daibutsuden) at the centre of Todaiji Temple.
