Truffle Market - Lalbenque

Raphael Daubet, senator of Lot (Occitanie), present at the first truffle market of the season on December 5, 2023. The Pays de Lalbenque is the main production center for Quercy black truffles. Its truffle market is classified as a Remarkable Site of Taste. In the 1900s, the Lot produced more than 200 tonnes of truffles. Today, its production varies between 3 and 10 tonnes.
