Ohtani mural in his hometown

Photo taken on Sept. 25, 2025, shows a mural of Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani and his dog Decoy, known in Japanese as Dekopin, created by American artist Robert Vargas, on the outside wall of a hair salon in Ohtani's hometown of Oshu, Iwate Prefecture, in northeastern Japan. The artist is known for painting a 45-meter-tall giant mural of Ohtani on the side of Miyako Hotel in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.
