A fire, dubbed the Tuscany Fire, broke out on the mountainside west of Palm Springs near Tramway Road on Monday, June 17. The fire grew to 350 acres but no evacuation orders have been issued and fire crews were able to achieve 50% containment as of Monday evening, according to local reports.
