According to him, the state revenue is planned at 2,781.3 trillion rupiah (181 million U.S. dollars) and the budget deficit is set at 2.29 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) which equals to 522.8 trillion rupiah (34 billion U.S. dollars) for 2024. The president said the budget was designed to face the geo-economic tension that may lead to disruption of supply chains, escalating the risk of global food and energy security.
