An aerial drone photo taken on December 30, 2025 shows the No. 5 main tower of the Xihoumen highway-railway bridge in Zhoushan, east China's Zhejiang Province. The No. 5 main tower of the Xihoumen highway-railway bridge on the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway was topped out on Tuesday, making it the first one of its kind to be topped out along the entire railway line. At a height of 294 meters, roughly that of a 100-story building, the tower sets a new world record for the tallest bridge tower built in the sea. The Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge is shared by the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway and the Ningbo-Zhoushan Expressway to get across the Xihoumen waterway in Zhoushan.
