Royal Couple Presents Cervantes Award - Spain

Isabel Díaz-Ayuso, Eernest Urtasun and José Vicente Saz Pérez at the exit of the presentation of the "Miguel de Cervantes" 2024 Prize for Literature in the Spanish Language, on April 23, 2025, in Alcalá de Henares. This recognition is awarded to the writer Álvaro Pombo, for "his extraordinary creative personality, his singular lyricism and his original narration. In addition to his outstanding level as a poet and essayist, he is one of the great novelists of our language who explores the human condition from the affective perspectives of deep and contradictory feelings".
